26SU06.39 - Raptor Feeding- August

Join our naturalist for an up-close look at how birds of prey are cared for at the nature center. During this program, you’ll meet some of our resident raptors—such as hawks, owls, and falcons—and learn about their incredible hunting adaptations, diets, and the important role they play in local ecosystems. Staff will demonstrate how these birds are fed and their behaviors.

Note:

*Parents/Guardians are required to stay for the duration of the program.
Please note: During this demonstration, the raptors will be fed whole, deceased mice, which are part of their natural diet. The feeding will be visible to the audience. This program may not be suitable for visitors who are sensitive to this type of content.
Wear comfortable shoes we will hike up to the aviary.
