Carroll County Department of Recreation & Parks, in partnership with the Carroll County Equestrian Council, invites you to a FREE Equestrian Scavenger Hunt at Piney Run Park (440 Martz Road, Sykesville). Please note this event is exclusively for equestrians with their own horses.

To participate, riders must:
• Obtain a 2026 Piney Run Park equestrian parking permit for access to the park.
• Register for the event to be eligible for prizes and to receive full event details by email.
• Complete the scavenger hunt anytime between sunrise and sunset, from October 16 through October 25, 2026.
**Minors are permitted to attend the program if accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Note:
A Piney Run Equestrian Parking permit is required to participate in the scavenger hunt. Link to obtain the parking permit: https://carrollcountymd.jotform.com/243384220759056
Once completed, the pass will need to be picked up at the Dept. of Recreation & Parks office located at 300 S. Center St., Westminster, MD 21157. Office hours are Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. The pass must be visible in your vehicle the day of the event and will include the gate code required for entry.
